Flipkart announced that group CFO Sriram Venkataraman, who has been with the company since 2015, will step down, with marketplace unit CFO Ravi Iyer taking over the broader finance role on an interim basis during the transition. The departure comes as Flipkart prepares to list its shares in India, having shifted its holding company from Singapore to India earlier this month. Flipkart, which competes with Amazon in India and was valued at roughly $37B in 2024, has been majority-owned by Walmart since its $16B acquisition in 2018.
