Etsy now lets sellers add as many as five helpers who manage the shop from their own Etsy accounts, so owners no longer have to share passwords, according to Liz Morton at Value Added Resource. Helpers can buy labels, publish listings and answer buyers, but they can’t issue refunds, delete listings or see finances, and every helper gets identical permissions. Etsy is also redesigning seller payment accounts, folding reserved funds into a Pending balance and dropping the separate reserve module that has long confused sellers. Listing appeals are expanding too, after years of complaints about handmade listings pulled under the Creativity Standards with no way to challenge the removal, and Etsy expects all sellers to be able to appeal removals in most policy areas before 2027.
