eBay promoted Saskia Meier-Andrae, who runs its Germany and Central Europe business, to a new VP and general manager role overseeing all of its EU marketplaces. Meier-Andrae joined from Wayfair in 2024 and will keep running Germany, reporting to Oliver Klinck, VP and GM of Global Markets and C2C. eBay wants the combined structure to let it roll out programs across several countries at once while local teams keep handling day-to-day operations, and it says business sellers need the help because many of the rules that complicate selling to buyers in other EU countries are set at the EU level.
