DoorDash integrates directly with Shopify, letting US brick-and-mortar retailers add their catalogs to the DoorDash marketplace

by | Jul 15, 2026 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

DoorDash launched a direct integration with Shopify, available as a native sales channel in Shopify’s App Store, letting US merchants with a brick-and-mortar store add their product catalog to the DoorDash marketplace by enabling a channel. Merchants activate it from their Shopify Admin with no separate onboarding, manual catalog uploads, or disruption to existing operations, going live in days while products and inventory sync automatically so DoorDash listings match what’s on the shelf. DoorDash calls it the first on-demand marketplace Shopify merchants can turn on directly from Shopify, framing the tie-up as connecting local retailers with same-day demand. Availability starts in the U.S., with international expansion planned in the coming months, opening on-demand delivery to shops from gift stores to specialty food retailers.
