DHL eCommerce buys Baltic parcel carrier Venipak, taking direct ownership of delivery networks in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia

DHL reached a definitive agreement to buy Venipak Group, giving DHL eCommerce delivery operations it owns outright in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia rather than partner arrangements. Venipak, which DHL bills as among the Baltics' biggest independent carriers, runs roughly 800 lockers alongside a network of pick-up points and handles both B2B and B2C volume in a region where shoppers lean heavily on out-of-home collection. Venipak keeps its brand after closing, along with its management team and staff, and DHL says it will spend on the workforce, more lockers, sorting capacity at major terminals, and IT. Baltic merchants shipping with Venipak can plug into DHL eCommerce's worldwide network and its 165,000-plus out-of-home points. Neither company disclosed a price, and the deal needs regulatory clearance before it closes.
