commercetools launches AI-native “Builders” tools letting developers create enterprise commerce with Claude Code, Cursor, and v0, plus an integration layer

commercetools, the headless commerce platform that powers large enterprise B2B and B2C operations, launched commercetools for Builders, an AI-native toolset that lets developers create production-grade commerce experiences using AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Vercel’s v0 from natural-language prompts. The company also unveiled a Commerce Integration Layer that centralizes the connections between commerce, content, search, promotions, and tax systems, the integration work that has historically stretched enterprise commerce projects across months. Founder Dirk Hoerig pitched the launches as collapsing build times from a project plan to a prompt, part of the company’s broader “autonomous commerce” push. commercetools for Builders is available now, with the Commerce Integration Layer coming later this year.
