Circle Expands USDC Reach Through Ripple, Shopify, and World Partnerships

Circle partnered with Ripple to launch USDC on the XRP Ledger, aiming to spur development of financial apps within the XRPL ecosystem. Shopify also began rolling out support for USDC, allowing merchants to accept stablecoin payments natively in their stores. Meanwhile, digital identity platform World upgraded nearly 2 million users to native USDC as part of an expanded partnership, enabling broader stablecoin use across its 27 million-person global user base.
