ByteDance is working with Aolani Cloud to lease 500 Nvidia Blackwell computing systems deployed in Malaysia. The arrangement utilizes approximately 36,000 restricted B200 chips at an estimated hardware cost exceeding $2.5 billion. The company is assembling this infrastructure outside of China to circumvent U.S. export controls and support its global AI research initiatives.
