Blue Origin's next New Glenn launch will carry 48 Amazon Leo satellites for Amazon's broadband network as soon as June 4 from Cape Canaveral, the largest single-rocket payload yet for the constellation. The FAA closed the investigation into the third New Glenn flight in April, which stranded an AST SpaceMobile satellite in a lower-than-planned orbit after a cryogenic leak froze a hydraulic line and caused a thrust anomaly. Blue Origin identified nine corrective actions. Both Blue Origin and Amazon were founded by Jeff Bezos. Amazon has 302 satellites in orbit, well behind the FCC requirement to deploy half of its 3,232-satellite constellation by the end of July, and has asked for an extension. The company purchased 12 more New Glenn flights in January, bringing its total with Blue Origin to 24, and added 10 SpaceX Falcon 9 launches. ULA's Vulcan, the constellation's primary launcher, remains grounded as ULA investigates a recurring booster issue.
