Block and Uber expanded their partnership adding Cash App Pay to Uber in the U.S. and Square POS integration in six new countries

Block and Uber expanded their global partnership with two new integrations: Cash App Pay is now available as a payment option across Uber and Uber Eats in the U.S., giving the platform access to Block's 59 million monthly transacting Cash App users and offering consumers special promotions and a simplified checkout experience. Separately, Square's native integration with Uber Eats, already available in the U.S., is expanding to Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, France, and Spain, allowing restaurants to manage Uber Eats orders directly through their Square POS without additional tablets while accessing Instant Payouts and controlling menus and inventory from a single dashboard. The expanded partnership builds on an existing Afterpay integration with Uber in Australia launched last year.
