Apple hired Scott Tucker, Meta’s longtime litigation chief, to run its commercial and patent cases worldwide, reuniting him with general counsel Jennifer Newstead, who was Meta’s top lawyer before joining Apple in March. Newstead is reorganizing Apple’s legal department around Tucker, so Heather Grenier, who has led Apple’s competition litigation since the 2021 Epic Games trial, will now report to him instead of to Newstead.
