Anthropic launched Claude Frontier Academy, a $100 million program to train 10,000 engineers by the end of 2027 who can take AI projects inside a company from idea to production. Enrollment is by nomination, and engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, Novo Nordisk and Commonwealth Bank of Australia make up the first cohorts. Participants start with a four-day in-person course where they build a Claude deployment for a mock company, then spend 12 weeks leading a real one at their own employer with mentoring from Anthropic. Those who pass a final practical exam earn the title of Claude Frontier Deployed Engineer, Anthropic’s version of the forward-deployed engineer role Palantir popularized, with the first credentials due in early 2027.
