Angi, the home services marketplace formerly called Angie’s List, is cutting about 300 jobs, most of them middle managers and support staff, in its second round of layoffs this year after it cut 350 in January. Angi disclosed the cuts alongside its Q3 results, which showed revenue down 9% to $242 million as the number of homeowner leads it sent to contractors fell 18%. The company expects the layoffs to save $50 million to $60 million a year in operating and capital spending, but it will record $18 million to $30 million in restructuring charges through mid-2027. Former TEGNA CEO Michael Steib took over Angi six weeks before the cuts, and he told analysts that growing cash flow is his first priority.
