Amazon will penalize sellers who don’t deliver 90% of Amazon Business orders during buyers’ business hours starting September 30

Amazon will require professional sellers to maintain a Business Hour Delivery Rate of 90% or higher on seller-fulfilled orders starting September 30, meaning packages must reach Amazon Business buyers during their operating hours. Sellers whose rate stays below 90% by October 30 risk having their offers deactivated for Amazon Business customers, though FBA and retail offers are unaffected, and many argue they can’t control when carriers like UPS and FedEx actually deliver. Amazon Business, its B2B procurement marketplace, does not let sellers block business customers, and sellers point to deliveries arriving at midnight, before a buyer opens, or on holidays like Juneteenth as failures beyond their control.
