Amazon's market cap closed above $3T for the first time on Monday, with shares up 4% in the company's strongest session since May 5. The rally started with second-quarter results last week, where revenue reached $200.61B against a $196.47B estimate and AWS brought in $42.2B against $40.54B, both driven by AI demand for cloud capacity. Adjusted earnings came in at $1.97 a share versus the $1.82 analysts expected. Amazon's cloud rivals reported similar momentum in the same stretch, with Microsoft's Azure up 43% in its fiscal Q4 and Google Cloud growing 82%.
