Amazon launches a $25 Thanksgiving meal with an 8 lb. Butterball turkey and free same-day delivery in more than 2,300 US cities

Amazon launched a $25 Thanksgiving meal through Amazon Grocery, sold through November 26 while supplies last, and delivery is free the same day for carts of at least $25 in over 2,300 US cities and towns. The meal comes with a frozen 8 lb. Butterball turkey, Stove Top stuffing, gravy mix, cranberry sauce, and Kraft Mac & Cheese, plus potatoes, green beans, corn, crescent rolls, pie crusts, and pumpkin puree from Amazon’s private label. Amazon is also selling frozen turkeys at $0.79 per pound and fresh turkeys at $0.99 per pound until Thanksgiving. Amazon, which calls itself the second-largest US grocer, has added more than 6,000 items to its same-day grocery selection over the past six months.
