Cursor, the AI coding assistant launched in 2023, is in preliminary talks with investors for a new funding round at approximately $50 billion, nearly double the $29.3 billion valuation it secured in its $2.3 billion round just four months ago. The company’s annualized revenue topped $2 billion in February, making it one of the fastest-growing startups of all time, with backing from Coatue, Thrive Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Google, and Nvidia.
