Zoovu, an AI-native product discovery platform serving enterprise brands like Microsoft, Bosch, Canon, Honeywell, and Trek, announced its acquisition of XGEN AI, a search and recommendations platform whose clients include Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Sonos, with financial terms undisclosed. The combined company aims to consolidate the typical five-to-seven-vendor product discovery stack into a single AI-native engine covering search, recommendations, personalization, guided selling, bundling, and conversational AI on one data model. Reported outcomes from existing customers include a 25% lift in add-to-cart rate for Microsoft, with the acquisition backed by FTV Capital, Zoovu's lead investor.
