ZigZag, a global returns management network, acquired Shipup, a post-purchase platform specializing in proactive delivery communication and customer engagement, for an undisclosed amount, combining ZigZag's global warehouse and carrier infrastructure with Shipup's delivery tracking, customer support, upsell emails, and feedback survey tools into a single end-to-end post-purchase platform. The combined company now operates across 170+ countries with 250 employees across offices in the UK, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Germany, and Portugal, and will operate globally under the ZigZag Global brand. Shipup customers have reported a 50% increase in repeat orders and up to 67% reduction in support tickets on average, metrics ZigZag is banking on to attract retailers looking to turn post-purchase into a revenue driver rather than a cost center.
