Waabi, a Toronto-based autonomous vehicle startup, raised $750 million in a Series C round led by Khosla Ventures and G2 Venture Partners. The all-equity financing supports the expansion of its physical AI technology from trucking into the robotaxi market through a deepened partnership with Uber that aims to deploy up to 25,000 vehicles. The collaboration allows riders to hail cars controlled by Waabi’s software, positioning the firm to compete directly with rivals like Waymo and Tesla.
