Temu removes peptide listings following reports of unregulated sales

by | Feb 23, 2026 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

Temu removed listings for peptides after reports surfaced that biohackers were purchasing the unregulated chemical substances on the platform. The e-commerce site was selling vials labeled as “research use only” for as little as $12 as customers sought cheap alternatives to popular weight-loss drugs. A spokesperson emphasized that the company prohibits the sale of items making medical claims, while the listings disappeared shortly after media inquiries highlighted the safety risks.
