Stripe announced 288 new products and features at its annual Stripe Sessions conference, headlined by a partnership that brings its Agentic Commerce Suite to Google so businesses including Quince, Fanatics, and JD Sports can sell to consumers inside AI Mode and the Gemini app, following similar deals with OpenAI, Microsoft, and Meta. Stripe also enabled its Link wallet for AI agents to make payments on users' behalf using one-time-use cards with per-payment approval, launched streaming payments that combine Metronome tracking with stablecoin micropayments on the Tempo blockchain to charge for tokens in real time, and expanded its Radar fraud product to detect token theft after blocking more than 3.3M risky sign-ups across eight AI businesses last month. Stripe CEO Patrick Collison said in the announcement that “AI is the biggest platform shift for the economy since the internet, and in the not-too-distant future agents will account for most transactions online.”
