Spotify forecast first-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates, driving shares up nearly 12% in premarket trading. The results mark the first quarter since co-CEOs Gustav Soderstrom and Alex Norstrom took the reins from founder Daniel Ek, who transitioned to Executive Chairman. The streaming giant reported its slowest revenue growth since 2018 but added a record 38 million monthly active users while expanding into physical books and video podcasts.
