Poshmark sellers wait weeks for their earnings after a switch to a new banking partner delays direct deposits and mailed checks

Poshmark left some sellers without their earnings for two weeks or longer after it changed banking partners and payout processing broke, according to Liz Morton at Value Added Resource. Poshmark’s status page flagged a direct deposit problem on October 2, but the banking switch only came out in a seller notice posted to Reddit on October 10, which promised most reprocessed deposits by October 15 and checks later. Some withdrawals showed as completed in sellers’ accounts before the money reached their banks. Poshmark’s system also treats every account as checking, so deposits to savings accounts can bounce as late as five business days afterward and must be requested again. Poshmark hasn’t said how many sellers it affected or how much money was held up.
