by | Apr 12, 2026 | E-commerce News

Perplexity expanded its Plaid integration to include bank accounts, credit cards, and loans alongside previously supported brokerage accounts, giving users a single hub to track spending, monitor debt, and calculate net worth across more than 12,000 financial institutions including Chase, Fidelity, Schwab, and Vanguard. Plaid provides read-only access and user data never touches Perplexity's servers, with the integration powering freeform financial queries and custom tools like budget trackers, debt payoff planners, and retirement dashboards built through Perplexity Computer. The feature is available on desktop to all signed-in U.S. and Canada users, with advanced Computer-powered capabilities limited to Pro and Max subscribers.
