OpenAI Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser said enterprise now accounts for more than 40% of the company's total revenue and is on pace to reach parity with consumer revenue by end of 2026, as businesses shift from using AI for simple tasks to deploying coordinated “teams of agents” that operate inside business tools without constant human oversight. OpenAI's coding agent Codex crossed 3 million users from nearly zero at the start of the quarter, paying business users hit 9 million in February up from 5 million in August, and weekly active users across all products reached 910 million. The company is projecting $85B in revenue by 2030 and is preparing for an IPO, with CFO Sarah Friar confirming this week that retail investors will receive a share of the allocation.
