Her office says no state has brought a monopsony conduct case before. The complaint alleges Amazon gives drivers uniforms, branded vans, and routes, monitors them with cameras and AI, flew drones over workers organizing a strike, and steers contractor hiring, with union supporters at one delivery station later turned down or fired by other contractors. Drivers make well below what the Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx pay, according to the filing. Amazon said the complaint isn't grounded in fact and that the office never raised its central claims before suing.
