Meta has begun the global rollout of consumer subscription plans for its three flagship apps, with Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus priced at $3.99 a month and WhatsApp Plus at $2.99 a month, and is starting to test additional subscriptions under a new umbrella brand called Meta One. The Plus plans add features like profile customization, story insights, super reactions, custom app icons, and the ability to spotlight, extend, or preview a story without showing up as a viewer. They sit alongside the existing Meta Verified product. Meta will also test two AI tiers, Meta One Plus at $7.99 a month and Meta One Premium at $19.99 a month, the latter unlocking deeper reasoning and more image and video generation. Two creator and business plans, Meta One Essential at $14.99 and Meta One Advanced at $49.99, will roll into testing soon.
