Meta donates 1,000 Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses to Singapore disability groups and funds training for visually impaired users

Meta is donating 1,000 pairs of its Ray-Ban AI glasses to four organizations in Singapore that work with people with disabilities, including Guide Dogs Singapore, the Singapore Disability Sports Council, and Gardens by the Bay. At an accessibility showcase Meta co-hosted with the Disability Sports Council, Chief Global Affairs Officer Joel Kaplan also announced a $30,000 grant to the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, which will build a free course teaching visually impaired users to read text, identify objects, and use voice commands with the glasses.
