JD.com launches Joybuy in the U.K. and Europe to compete with Amazon on delivery speed

JD.com launched its Joybuy.com platform in the U.K. and several European countries. The retailer utilizes a “double 11” pledge to provide same-day delivery for orders placed before 11 a.m. in select cities like London and Paris. Logistics for the expansion are managed by JoyExpress, the company's delivery arm, which operates three automated warehouses near London to process orders for electronics, food, and cosmetics.
