Google announced an upgrade to Chrome Autofill on Android and iOS that pulls a wider range of information directly from Google Wallet, including travel details, loyalty cards, vehicle registration, and other credentials users would otherwise type by hand. The feature is aimed at complex mobile forms like flight check-ins, car rentals, parking reservations, and online registrations, building on Chrome’s Enhanced Autofill system that already supported passports, driver’s licenses, and VINs. Google is bringing the capability to both Android and iPhone users, letting them select the relevant Wallet entry instead of digging through emails or separate apps. The move further cements Google Wallet as more than a payments tool, expanding it into a hub for IDs, tickets, loyalty programs, and travel credentials.
