Google teams up with Walmart Connect so advertisers can measure how their YouTube and display ads drive sales inside Walmart

by | Jun 12, 2026 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

Google is partnering with Walmart Connect to let advertisers measure how their Google campaigns drive actual sales at Walmart, drawing on Walmart's shopper purchase data. Brands can target Walmart audiences and reach its stated 150 million weekly U.S. shoppers through YouTube, then track the resulting sales lift, all within Google's Display & Video 360 and paired with Gemini tools for planning and measurement. The deal deepens the retail-media tie between the two companies, giving advertisers a clearer read on return on ad spend by connecting Google's reach to Walmart's first-party purchase data across the shopper journey.
