Google Finance is coming out of beta with new capabilities, rolling out investment-portfolio tracking globally alongside a new Android app and an iOS version coming later this year. Users can consolidate holdings in a single dashboard showing performance and asset-allocation insights, building portfolios by uploading CSVs or PDFs, dropping in screenshots, or simply describing their investments, then querying an AI research tool about gaps like underrepresented sectors. A new market-intel feature lets users schedule custom briefings by describing a task, such as a daily pre-market analysis of overnight crypto moves, which Google Finance assembles in the background and delivers via notification. The new Android app brings watchlists, real-time data, a live news feed, the AI research tool, and AI-generated “key moments” explaining stock movements into one place.
