Google Ads now shows advertisers as many as 10 example headlines and descriptions that AI Max would write for a Search campaign before they switch on its text customization feature. Once an advertiser enters the landing page address, Google’s AI reads that page and generates examples within roughly 30 seconds, and the preview appears under Asset optimization while building or editing a campaign. But the examples are illustrations, so the copy Google actually serves can differ. Text customization, which Google used to call automatically created assets, moved into AI Max when Google began upgrading those campaigns automatically on September 1.
