Giantex is recalling roughly 1,155 outdoor lounge chairs after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned consumers can catch their fingers in a pinch point while adjusting the chair, posing an amputation risk. One finger amputation linked to the chair's adjustment mechanism has been reported to the CPSC. The affected blue chairs carry model number NP10025NY and feature a five-position adjustable locking system. They were manufactured in China, distributed in California, and sold through Amazon and Giantex.com at prices ranging from $75 to $90 from August 2023 until October 2025. Consumers should stop using the chairs and contact Giantex for a full refund. Depending on the arrangement, owners may receive a prepaid return label or be directed to render the product unusable by separating the headrest pillow, cutting through the fabric, and photographing the results before the refund is processed.
