Fiserv president Dhivya Suryadevara resigns weeks after her promotion, leaving July 31 amid the payments firm’s leadership churn

Fiserv president Dhivya Suryadevara resigned this week just a month after her promotion, and will leave the payments-technology company by July 31, citing ‘good reason' in an SEC filing that gave no specifics. Her departure adds to Fiserv's leadership churn, and KBW analysts noted she got no retention bonus at June's CEO transition while the new CEO and CFO received millions in promotion equity. Suryadevara previously served as Stripe's CFO and led health units at UnitedHealth, and at Fiserv she helped build agentOS, an AI-agent product for core banking and payments developed with OpenAI on AWS Bedrock. Fiserv is midway through a turnaround built on stablecoins, AI, and buy now, pay later, and is reportedly weighing a sale of parts of its debit-processing business to large banks.
