eBay rehired Renee Paradise to run its fashion business, which the company puts above $10B in annual GMV, and she starts August 25 under focus categories VP Chris Prill, according to Liz Morton at Value Added Resource. Paradise ran the category at eBay from 2014 to 2019 before senior digital jobs at Bloomingdale’s and then Neiman Marcus, an interim chief digital officer run at Veronica Beard, and advising at McKinsey. Her brief covers luxury and everything below it, plus closer work with Depop, which eBay closed on for $1.4B in July. Both are losing UK ground to Vinted, which the CMA puts at 50% to 60% of UK C2C apparel GMV last year while eBay slid to 10% to 20% and Depop to 0% to 5%. Alexis Hoopes has been VP and global head of fashion since 2024, and eBay won’t say how the jobs differ.
