eBay Consolidates Ads, Stores, Shipping, Payments & Financing Under Services Division in Monetization-Focused Reorg

by | Aug 5, 2025 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

eBay is restructuring its Ads, Stores, Shipping, Payments, and Business Seller Growth teams into a unified Services division as part of a broader monetization strategy. The reorganization aligns with CFO Peggy Alford’s forecast of revenue growth driven by advertising, shipping, and financial services, and reflects eBay’s pivot towards monetizing seller services over driving transactional sales. Under new leadership, eBay plans to expand aggressive advertising attribution models, managed shipping programs, and seller financing initiatives, while quietly phasing out seller incentives like the EPN affiliate program.
