Commerce, the Austin company that renamed itself from BigCommerce Holdings in 2025 and runs BigCommerce, Feedonomics, and Makeswift under the CMRC ticker, hired Emily Harnish as chief marketing officer. Harnish announced the move herself on LinkedIn, which is the only public word on it so far. She arrives from Pellera Technologies, the enterprise IT firm created by the merger of Converge Technology Solutions and Mainline Information Systems, and she had been CMO at Converge from mid-2024 and at government software vendor CivicPlus before that. The hire follows a run of changes in the executive ranks, with CFO Daniel Lentz picking up the COO title in January and chief commercial officer Russell Klein retiring last November.
