Brand Collective acquires three collapsed Australian retailers, Glue Store, The Dom and Running Bare, and plans to relaunch them

Brand Collective bought Glue Store, The Dom and Running Bare, three Australian retailers that all stopped trading this year, for undisclosed terms. Accent Group shut Glue Store in mid-June after an $8.4 million loss and a run of store closures. Meanwhile, online factory outlet The Dom went dark in April under financial pressure, and activewear label Running Bare has been out of business for six months. The buyer, a Larry Kestelman company with more than 30 brands, plans to keep Glue Store on youth fashion with better digital and more stores, widen The Dom into fashion, footwear and lifestyle at low prices, and rebuild Running Bare’s digital side without losing the label’s identity. CEO David Thomas said more detail is coming in the next few months.
