Australia Post, the country’s national postal service, launched a marketing campaign called Big Boss Energy to give small and mid-sized merchants promotional platforms for reaching more consumers. Selected post offices will become regional promotional hubs hosting local events, community programming, and small-business showcases. Campaign also leans on digital creator content, social posts, localized marketing, and point-of-sale displays, capped by a dedicated market event in Melbourne on September 20 for smaller merchants and side-hustle sellers. GM Gary Starr said the program gives emerging brands practical ways to build their profile and scale beyond standard parcel delivery. Small and micro merchants make up 88% of the carrier’s customers, the segment it is spotlighting as Australia’s annual online spending reaches A$82.6B.
