Anthropic began negotiations with a consortium of private equity firms, including Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman, to form an artificial intelligence consulting joint venture. The proposed entity plans to utilize a consulting model to integrate Claude technology into portfolio companies funded by the investment firms. Anthropic recently reached $19 billion in annualized revenue following the release of its Claude Code and Cowork business automation tools. Blackstone currently holds a $1 billion stake in Anthropic based on a $380 billion overall valuation.
