AMI Labs, an artificial intelligence startup co-founded by Yann LeCun, raised $1.03 billion at a $3.5 billion pre-money valuation. The company develops world models designed to learn directly from physical reality instead of relying solely on language data. Cathay Innovation and Bezos Expeditions co-led the funding round with strategic participation from Nvidia and Samsung. The startup plans to open-source its code and build out research teams across Paris, New York, Montreal and Singapore.
