Addi, a Colombian commerce and financial-services platform, raised $85M in a Series D round led by Citius and co-led by BTG Pactual, with participation from GIC and Monashees. BTG Pactual's stake is its first Growth investment outside Brazil, and Addi, profitable for two years, will use the money to expand its AI-first credit platform and financial products for consumers and merchants. Addi recently won authorization from Colombia's financial regulator to operate as a regulated, deposit-taking entity, and in April closed a $150M credit facility led by J.P. Morgan that pushed its total debt commitments past $680M. Earlier backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, and Quona, and Addi was started in 2018 by Santiago Suárez, Daniel Vallejo, and Elmer Ortega.
