Bestway Wholesale acquired DB Ramsden & Co, trading as Dee Bee Wholesale, a family-owned independent wholesaler serving more than 1,400 retail and on-trade customers across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, for an undisclosed fee. Founded in 1961, Dee Bee has reported annual sales of around £57M and employs 87 people across two depots in Hull and Grimsby. The deal strengthens Bestway’s regional footprint and delivered-wholesale capability, with managing director Nick Ramsden assuring customers it will be “business as usual.” Dee Bee has ceased its membership in buying group Unitas following the acquisition.
