Y Combinator reverses ban on Canadian startups

Y Combinator, a Silicon Valley startup accelerator, announced it will resume investing in Canadian-incorporated companies following a sudden policy reversal. The firm restored Canada to its list of accepted jurisdictions after receiving strong feedback from the founder community regarding the exclusion. CEO Garry Tan acknowledged that while US incorporation often aids fundraising, the accelerator is committed to supporting Canadian entities without forcing them to restructure.
