X has added a Google Tag Manager integration to its Ads Manager, letting advertisers set up its Pixel and Conversion API tracking through a guided, no-code process rather than editing their site's code. Because Google Tag Manager lets marketers deploy and manage analytics tags from one central place without touching code, advertisers can now add X's tracking tags the same way, which X says cuts the need for developer support and opens conversion tracking to marketers of any technical level. With the tags in place, advertisers can capture more specific performance data, including direct conversions driven by their X ads rather than coarser engagement metrics. X also rolled out a live dashboard to monitor the health of Pixel and Conversion API events so advertisers can catch and fix tracking issues quickly, and grouped all of its Conversion API resources inside its Events Manager.
