Uber launched a returns feature through its Uber Eats app that lets customers schedule a courier pickup for eligible retail items they want to return, with a fee calculated based on the courier's time and distance and a minimum item price of $20. Participating retailers at launch include Target, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Petco, and several others, with more to be added over time, and customers must comply with each retailer's return policy. The feature builds on Uber's existing package delivery efforts, including its 2023 “Return a Package” option through Uber Connect that let customers send up to five packages to post offices or UPS and FedEx locations.
