Trucking fintech Mudflap acquired capacity management platform Parade to connect its 515,000-driver network with freight brokers

Mudflap, a Palo Alto-based fintech that provides fuel discount solutions to carriers via a location-aware mobile app and fuel card, acquired Parade, a San Francisco-based capacity management and carrier relationship platform that has facilitated more than $40B in cumulative freight transactions. The deal gives Parade's broker customers direct access to Mudflap's network of more than 515,000 drivers across over 100,000 verified carriers. Parade's last disclosed funding was a $17M Series B in 2023 led by I Squared Capital and Menlo Ventures, and acquisition terms were not disclosed.
