Thoma Bravo, a U.S. private equity firm, entered advanced talks to acquire WWEX Group, a U.S. logistics provider, for approximately $5 billion. The investment company is planning to combine the business with Auctane, a US shipping software developer, to build a $12 billion logistics technology platform. The companies are expected to announce the finalized transaction as soon as Tuesday.
